I’m not normally into poems so much (although, after reading Murky Depths for a few issue, it is growing on me), but this is a blinder: strong words create horrific visions. ‘Back to the roots’ Murky Depths. The artwork is on a par with the poem, dark and horrific, and just a little bit (a lot?) sick. It’s probably why they have the normal lights so low, and the fluorescent lighting turned up in those strip clubs (so I’ve been told). Dr Herbert West’s Patented Parent Rejuvenation Formula, a macabre magazine ad I put together, now graces the back cover of Thrilling Tales 3,  released this month by Rainfall Books.

Released this month from Rainfall Books is the chapbook 'Plunder The Tomes: The First 50 Rainfall Chapbooks,' edited and illustrated by Steve Lines. It includes a bibliography of all of Rainfall's magazine and one-shot publications from RAIN 001 to 050, including amongst others: 'Lovecraft's Disciples,' 'Strange Sorcery,' and collections by Franklyn Searight, Robert M.
